1. Registration
The last date of registration is January 15, 2024.
Group registrations are only available for 25 or above participants. If you are the group administrator of such a group, then please fill your group details here and we will get back to you with the process to register your group members.” to “Group registrations are only available for 10 or above participants. Sorry, all race kits must be picked up on the day prior to the race at the race expo. Race kits will NOT be provided to runners on the day of the race.
Sorry, refund requests will NOT be entertained once registration has been completed.
Race Category can be changed from Family Fun Run to Half Marathon by paying the balance amount. However this is only possible till 15th January 2024. Please drop us an E-mail if you would like to change this. If you would like to downgrade from HM to 10 KM or from 10 KM to Fun Run, it is also possible if you notify us before 15th January 2024. However, no refund will be given if you downgrade the category.
No transfer of registrations will be permitted. Individuals must register for themselves with the exception of the group registrations.
We firmly believe that anyone can run at any age. There is no upper limit to the age category for the Family fun Run and nor for the endurance events, although we will require proof of prior completion of an event or assurance that you have put in the effort to train for the event for the full and half marathon.
If the participant is below 18 years, they should be accompanied by a parent/guardian for Full and Half Marathon distances. The parent/guardian must also be registered in the same category and must accompany the minor at all times during the race.
No registrations will be accepted on the day of the race. This will be strictly enforced. Please do comply with the same.

Registration charges are inclusive of GST and payment gateway charges. You also have the option to take a step towards the Five R of sustainability – ‘Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle’ and get a discount of ₹200, when you opt-out of complimentary T-shirt.
Registration Charges includes complimentary T-Shirt for the first 4000 registrations (or until 1st October) and for those who have not opted out and availed the green warrior discount of ₹200/- . After the first 4000 registrations, complimentary T-shirt won’t be available for any participants and nor would be the green warrior discount.
2. Race Expo

Bib distribution will be held on Saturday, 10th February, 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
Please Note:-
- All confirmed runners need to personally come to collect their running number bibs from the Expo.
- Bibs will not be posted to individual addresses nor distributed on race day.
Yes, the authorized person will be required to produce a copy of your photo id and an authorization letter to collect your race kit.
3. Getting to the Race
There will be limited space for parking of vehicles close to the start. We urge you to carpool or use a hired vehicle to the start to avoid excessive congestion at the venue. Fun Runners can use the Metro.
Nearest railway station 9.5 km from Tripunithura railway station.
Nearest Airport is 20km from Cochin International Airport.
Nearest Bus Stand is 4km from Kakkanad Thrikkakara Bus Station.
Nearest metro station is 11km from Changampuzha Park Metro Station
The race will start and finish at Infopark Kochi Kakkanad.
4. About The Race Course
Pets or animals are not allowed to register or participate in the Gtech Marathon.
No form of assistance to complete the course will be allowed. hopping on a vehicle of any kind will result in a disqualification and a ban from the registration for next year’s event.
The aid stations will be stocked with electrolyte, water, oranges, bananas, biscuits and salt.
Of course! Walk-jog is a strategy used by a number of different runners, the world over. You can walk, run, roll or use your legs to complete the distance of the course in any way you like as long as you stick to the stipulated time limits and cut-off times.
The finish line and the race shall come to a close at 10:00 hrs. This will be strictly implemented.
The race officials will begin packing up and wrapping up of the race at this time.
No runner will be allowed to continue after this time as we do not have permissions to continue blocking the roads, etc after this time and are required by administrative officials to wrap up.
There is a 6 hour 30 minute time limit, within which all runners must have completed the full marathon. Any runners on the course after this cut-off time shall be asked to enter the sweep vehicle.
In addition to the overall cut-off time, there will be cut-off times at various checkpoints on the way as well, failing to reach these points in time will require the runner to enter the sweep vehicle.
Race officials and medical personnel will have the final say in whether a runner must leave the race, runners are asked to comply. The cut-off time will be strictly exercised. This is for the safety of the runners as well as to comply with the law.
However, there is no cut-off for completing the Half Marathon and Fun Run.
The race will start and finish at Infopark Kochi.
5. Results and Prizes
Awards / mementos will be presented to both Men & Women running the Half Marathon, 10 KM & Fun Run according to the following age categories:
- Open
- Young (Under 45 Years)
- Veteran (45-54 Years)
- Senior (55-64 Years)
- Super Senior (65 and above)
The overall winner will be declared based on the gun time. However, the age category winners will be decided based on one’s net time.
There is no podium position for the Fun run as we believe that everyone who stands at the starting line for the Fun run is a winner.

Results for all editions are available in the Results Page.
The GTech Marathon does not have any prize money. The race is conducted purely for the love of running and for people to experience the beauty of the marathon route.
We do not want to lose focus of that with prize money.
Every runner who successfully completes their race within the stipulated time shall earn their unique medal to take home as their prize as well as souvenir from this scenic race.
